Midwifery Care
Midwifery care constitutes so much more than physical monitoring of you and your unborn baby during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum. In addition to basic physical health, midwifery care encompasses far-reaching emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of your life. As a midwife, I believe in recognizing and engaging in all of these facets. When these areas are acknowledged, pregnancy and birth can be a time to process unresolved trauma, heal generational patterns, mend relationships, create new neural pathways, and imbue the world with love. This begins with self-recognition and a willingness to grow emotionally even as you grow your baby. In my practice model, awareness and client autonomy in decision-making are the keys to accessing this deeper level of self-healing.
